Welcome to the task of conversational data analysis.
In this task, you will be given a data analysis scenario as well as a dataset description. To complete the task, you must interact with the chatbot and answer various questions. The data analysis scenario will include a short description of the analytics goal as well as supporting information in the form of textual, tabular, and visual descriptions.
The primary goal is to formulate hypotheses that are relevant to both the dataset and the analysis goal that has been provided. A hypothesis is “an idea or explanation for something that is based on known facts but has not yet been proved.” By accepting this task, you are participating in a study being performed by researchers at the University of Zurich Department of Informatics. This task will be in a chat environment; you will submit your answers through a conversation in a chat.

The whole conversation will take around 30 minutes. Your average payout will be estimated using the hourly minimum wage in USD. You may be eligible for a bonus if you perform well. Low-quality responses that are unrelated to the given questions or are gibberish in general result in the hit being rejected; however, high-quality answers may result in a bonus.
You will be given detailed information on how to complete the task.
The only personal information that will be available to the researchers is what is publicly available on your MTurk profile and any information that you choose to provide during the course of the study.
